Aluminum and iron were always elevated in this F350, but when aluminum jumped to 277 and iron to 157 ppm, the owner decided to investigate. What they found was two bad injectors (which caused piston damage), as well as worn rocker arms, which weren't seating well and causing poor compression. The only clue the owner had that something wasn't right was a slight knock when the truck was warmed up...and, of course, the analysis.
