RAV4 Transmission w/254K on the Oil

The oil had never been changed in this transmission, so it's not surprising that there's quite a lot of metal, considering there's more than 265,000 miles on it. An oil change should be all this unit needs. And the oil is really in good shape physically. The viscosity is still correct and the oil was not very oxidized, with insolubles low at just a trace.
