This engine had elevated copper all along, but in the most recent sample aluminum, chrome, and iron jumped too. When that happened, the mechanics decided to take action and pulled the engine. They found the rod bearings were spinning, and in cylinders 3 the wrist pin bearing was breaking up. One bushing had slid out of place and was grinding on the piston.
