With aluminum at 192 ppm, the owner and his mechanic started investigating. One cylinder had nearly zero compression and then they pulled off it, chunks of metal literally fell out of the cylinder into his hand. The second ring had completely broken and that destroyed the ring land between the second and third ring. They also found many large pieces of metal in the filter. The owner said without our analysis, he never would have known anything was wrong since he wasn't noticing a loss of power and there were no apparent problems on his end.
