This new Corvette LS 7 saw an increase - not a decrease - in titanium as wear-in progressed. Turns out the intake valves were "ready to fall out," according to the owner -- all 16 valve guides were faulty. He was glad to find out now, rather than on the road at highway speeds! GMPP paid the full cost of the repairs.
